From the first day in 2011 when Derek TRANSITIONED into the REAL ESTATE business from his corporate business, his DREAM had always been to open his own BOUTIQUE LIKE ADVERTISING REAL ESTATE FIRM. A firm where strategic individuals or 'PARTNERS' with strong strategic business backgrounds would COLLABORATE to better each other and their clients. In the last 14 years, the SUCCESS has become an AMAZING REALITY, as clients have witnessed the CREATIVITY behind Derek's successful STRATEGIC MARKETING APPROACH -- A TRUE CORPORATE APPROACH to real estate or how Derek phrases it, 'FROM BOARDROOMS TO LIVING ROOMS'. This APPROACH is what DIFFERENTIATES him while STRIVING to have the best client service platform in the business. In Real Estate, Derek felt there was a GAP when it came to truly MARKETING A HOME. Driving AWARENESS of a home through the right strategic advertising channels – not simply relying on MLS and waiting for the phone to ring. Defining the TARGET MARKET, creating a STRATEGIC MARKETING PLAN SPECIFICALLY FOR YOUR HOME and going after BUYERS instead of waiting for buyers to call on properties. THAT HAS BEEN THE POINT of his brand over the past 14 years which has catapulted THE PARTNERS REAL ESTATE into RECORD SALES RESULTS all across Vancouver in the past 3 years.
DEREK OPENS PERSONAL OFFICE 2017
In 2017, Derek wanted to be UNIQUE and DIFFERENTIATING -- Derek decided and was one of the first Realtors who opened up his own personal office (while still being with old firm at the time) which truly headlined his out of the box thinking forward thinking (other Realtors since have followed). This personal Derek Grech office really gave Derek and his clients a great place to discuss everything REAL ESTATE. His 2017 DECISION LAUNCHED him into a STRENGTH POSITION as he has quickly then become known as an INDUSTRY LEADER. Three years later, his INCREDIBLE 2020/2021 sales performance created the PERFECT TIME to launch THE PARTNERS REAL ESTATE. Derek launched THE PARTNERS on the heels of selling 4351 Erwin Drive on the waterfront for close to $20 million, an incredible sale in the BP's at almost $8 million with NO VIEW, a $3.850.000 sale (at the time huge) for a 4200 square foot house in Edgemont Village and a listing in Lower Lonsdale at $6.5 million -- definitely 2021 timing for launching THE PARTNERS REAL ESTATE was INCREDIBLY PERFECT.

The DREAM of starting his own firm was IGNITED when after 10 solid years of hard work, creativity and a genuine love for the business, Derek had his BEST SALES PERFORMANCE YEAR selling more than $191 MILLION in 2020. After finishing number 1 at his old firm Angel Hasman & Associates, Derek felt it was the perfect time to LAUNCH what he had always envisioned -- Realtor COLLECTIVELY WORKING TOGETHER EVERYDAY ON ALL MEDIA/ADVERTISING PLATFORMS TO BRING AWARENESS TO ALL LISTINGS AT THE FIRM ALWAYS -- AGAIN, 'Boardrooms to Living Rooms' has been his platform in the business from the beginning. THIS APPROACH has truly made Derek's DREAM COME TRUE while making THE PARTNERS 'THE' TOP PERFORMING Real Estate Firm on the entire West Coast delivering this INNOVATIVE AND COLLABORATIVE APPROACH -- since launching and it now being 2024, The Partners Real Estate has definitely become the NUMBER 1 most innovative boutique approach in all of Greater Vancouver with an incredible sales record in these last year (September 2023-present) which has been the MOST INCREDIBLE SALES IN THE HISTORY OF VANCOUVER. 1611 DRUMMOND, Vancouver listed at $22 Million has been just sold, 1416 Sandhurst in West Vancouver was the highest SOLD EVER off the water sale (on MLS HISTORY) on the entire North Shore at over $18 Million with GST. The Bellevue by Cressy was sold for $6.250.000 for 2084 square feet which is $3000/foot (incredible price) and the highest ever sale in KITS POINT AT $9.5 MILLION located at 1849 Creelman in Kits Point (sold OFF THE MARKET) which calculates to OVER $350 MILLION IN SALES FROM SEPTEMBER 2023 - NOVEMBER 22 2024!!!
